Disrespect for God’s pictures and idols
Guruji…Iam a housewife living in BANGALORE. IT pains me a lot seeing people discarding God’s pictures idols on foot paths under trees when they don’t want it anymore.I tried clearing a place in the bus stand but it pained me to give it all away to the garbage truck .could u please guide me how to remove and dispose our God’s pictures frames photos and idols which people so carelessly throw or discard?

Hindus don’t worship idols, believing them to be Gods. Rather, we view the statues and images as physical representations of God to help us focus on an aspect of prayer or meditation.
You will never be able to go beyond the physical aspects of things and get to the truth of life if you get yourself attached to the 5 senses.
